Book Week

Last week was Book Week.

We have had stories in the library at lunch time as well as colouring competitions.  To cap it all off we got to dress up on Friday.  Check us out!

 

 

 

EM, dressed as Rapunzel, won the Best Dressed Book Character from our room.

Farewell Mr J

Thank you Mr J.
After 30 years, yes that's right 30 long years Mr J finally decided to call it a day.  Mr J has been our caretaker at Botany Downs primary all this time. 
We talked about not even being born when he started here.

  

 

You rock Mr J!

  During this time, Mr J has emptied our bins, filled our tissue boxes, cleaned up some of our messes, hung up wire and banged in nails, shared his passion for rugby and even read to us.

  He has also taught some of us how to play ripper rugby. 
All the very best in your semi-retirement Mr J.

Welcome to Term 3

Hi everyone and welcome back!

This term will be another very busy one but like we have done all year, we will keep trying to do our best!

Our new inquiry topic is Wearable Arts.

We will be busy making wearable costumes and preparing for our show in week 8.  The girls along with the girls in room 11 are busy making flower costumes, while the boys, with room 11 boys are making Super hero outfits.
Looking forward to a great show in week 8.
