Special Terrific Person and Values Person Week 3

Congratulations to NH for being our first Special Terrific Person this year.  NH has worked hard and presented all her work neatly.  Keep up the good work NH.  Our Values Person award goes to SW for always using her Manners and showing Courtesy towards others.  Well done SW.

Crossing Safely

We know how to cross the road safely at the pedestrian crossing with the road patrols.

If the road patrols are not there, we must make sure we look both ways - left and right, and listen for any cars that may be coming.

When the road patrols are at the crossing, we must wait behind the yellow line and wait for the them to say "cross now" before we cross the road.

Being the Best and Keeping Safe

We are learning about being 'Super Kids' and how to be the best learner and how to keep safe.

On our second day at school this year we had our first swimming lesson.

Wayne, our swimming instructor talked about being safe around water.  We know -

• We always swim with an adult.
• Never run around the pool.
• Always wear sun block and a hat.

We know how to get into the pool safely.

We had a lot of fun!!
